(above and below) Items from the infamous
Rose Farm. Not only are these items from The Rose Farm (adjacent to the Wheatfield) but the part of the Rose Farm that
they were found on is identified as well as the person who found both items. There is no better provenance. The Hotchkiss
shell was found "in the run that runs through the Rose Farm, found by Lester Little" and the small dish of miniballs
(all with same, matching patina) come with an old tag that says, "Found Rose Farm, by Lester Little, Near the Peach orchard".
There are CS and Union minis on the dish. Also, the Dish is featured in Mike O'Donnell's new book on Gettysburg items.
Both items are from the John Plank Geiselman Collection. Hotchkiss Shell...$750..........dish of minis with old tag....$350.
Both items come with letter of authenticity from the Horse Soldier.

(above and below) A box of "Souvenoirs
from the Gettysburg Battlefield" found by C.E.White of Hanover, PA. C.E. White found these relics days after the
battle when roaming the field. Among the assortment of relics are two religious items that are very rare and would have
been used and carried by soldiers, they were common among soldiers of Irish descent. One is a medallion with the virgin
Mary on it and the date 1830. Another is a small portable figure of St. Christopher which fits into a small portable
case. $295
